Engineering Project Management 1 - Assignments

Assignment 1

This assignment asks you to think about what a project is (and isn't) and to learn about source control management with git. The assignment brief is: Assignment 1 (PDF). This assignment should be submitted through Nuku. The workload guidance for the first assignment is two hours; questions increase in difficulty (easiest first, hardest last).

Assignment 2

This assignment asks you to learn a little about the UNIX/Linux shell. The assignment brief is: Assignment 2 (PDF). A Markdown template (very simple) is available Assignment 2 Template (Markdown). This assignment should be submitted in PDF through the ECS submission system; please see the system for submission deadline and weight, and to submit your PDF document. The estimated workload / workload guidance for this assignment is 2-3 hours.

Assignment 3

This assignment focuses on Quality, Continuous Integration and Configuration Management. The assignment brief is: Assignment-3 (PDF). A Markdown template (very simple) is available Assignment 3 Template (Markdown) which should be saved to PDF for submission. This assignment should be submitted in PDF through the ECS submission system; please see the Submission system for submission deadline and weight, and to submit your PDF document. The estimated workload / workload guidance is 1-2 hours.

Performance Portfolio 1

Performance Portfolio 2

This is the final assignment of the course, giving you the opportunity to present a portfolio of your finest work in the last 7 weeks of the project. The brief is: Performance Portfolio 2 (PDF). Please see the Submission system for submission deadline and weight, and to submit your Portfolio.

Final Test

The Final Test will be an invigilated test managed by the Central University and scheduled in the Assessment Period, Course Weeks 13-15.
