How to submit: In the ECS submission system, submit your assignment as a PDF file called 303-a2-report-username.pdf.
Extensions: see notes on Slip Days and Extensions.

This individual assignment consists of three parts: Wireframes, User flows, and UX guidelines. You should produce a single PDF for this assessment. The expectation is that you appropriately reference material provided in class, as well as any additional material from other sources, in your report. The list of references does not count towards the page limit.

There is a general marking guide included below.

1. Wireframes (40% of assignment mark)

Continuing on from Assignment 1, you are building an app that helps flatmates manage their expenses. In this part of the assignment, you should choose 3 user tasks belonging to any of the personas you identified from Assignment 1 Part 2 Q3. You can also use the Alex Singh Persona from Assignment 1. Design the wireframes to support each step of these tasks. In the report, include your wireframes and label them clearly as to what screen is being represented.

  • NOTE: You can use any tool such as balsamiq, Figma, or Adobe XD or even hand-draw to create your wireframes.

  • NOTE: Log in / log out tasks do not count.

2. User flows (20% of assignment mark)

In this part of the assignment you should show the user flows to demonstrate how users will carry out the above tasks with your wireframes. You should include the user goal with each task, and which persona is involved.

3. UX guidelines (40% of assignment mark)

In this part of the assignment you should discuss the strengths and weaknesses of your design (wireframes and user flows) by referring to UX guidelines discussed in class or in external sources. This part of the assignment should be no more than three A4 pages.
