E-Research champion

Our e-research champion is John Hine, Head of School of Engineering and Computer Science. John provides academic and strategic leadership for e-research development at VUW and across the NZ research sector.

E-Research Advice

Staff across VUW can help researchers identify e-research opportunities and access information, software tools and other services.

Support on offer includes:

• one-on-one advice about e-research
• information sessions for faculties, schools, institutes and centres
• help with accessing computer programming resources to support e-research
• development of e-research funding proposals
• demonstrations of software tools

E-Research Programming

E-research programming support is supplied on an ad hoc basis by programmers from Engineering and Computer Science.

Advisory group

Our work is informed by a small group of academic and general staff with an interest in e-research. Members of the group are:
