In recent years, game development has become one of the largest and most complicated software development. In this session, he will talk about how modern game development studios manage those development, taking the bases of Luminous Productions as an example. Next, considering the above, he will talk about our R&D by focusing on the goal, our approach, and potential themes. Lastly, he will talk about the importance and what we expect for CMIC.

Isamu Hasegawa has been involved in development of video game titles at SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. He was responsible for VFX and UI in the development of FINAL FANTASY XV, and has given many lectures in the universities and the game developer conferences. Now he is a senior researcher at Luminous Productions Co., Ltd. (SQUARE ENIX group), and he is responsible for Research & Development in the studio. Also he is a member of the steering committee of Information Processing Society of Japan SIG Software Engineering, a member of software engineering educational committee of Information Processing Society of Japan, and ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 Real-Time Live! Chair.
