Biography

I received my BE and ME in electrical engineering in Iran in 2006 and 2009 respectively, and my PhD in computer science from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand in 2017. I did a short-term postdoc in 2017 and as of August 2017 I am a teaching fellow in the School of Engineering and Computer Science. As a matter of fact, I have been in academia since 2007. I served as a part-time lecturer from 2007-2013 for several universities in Iran from which I received a number of research grants for my research ideas. I have also a background in industry as an electronic designer, microcontroller programmer, and CCTV sales/technical support.
