I am primarily interested in methods for advancement of software technologies used in Virtual Reality applications.
My current research focuses on Perceptual optimization for rendering on the Oculus Rift, with the aim of alleviating the occurrence, and severity of Simulator Sickness when using the Rift.
I also look at how human perception changes when immersed within a VR application, and how we can modify such applications to create behaviours and responses that correctly mimic reality.
