Victoria University is engaging in Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) across a phenomenal range of disciplines. You are invited to our networking event to meet researchers and teachers from Architecture, Art History, Computer Science, Design, Engineering, Film, Information Services, Tourism, and more. See experimental 360- degree video, real-time interaction, and demonstrations of the latest technology including the HTC Vive VR headset and the Microsoft HoloLens MR headset.

The event is curated by the Colliding Worlds team, funded through the Digital Futures theme. The team has surveyed the use of VR across Victoria and has brought together experts from disparate disciplines to record “colliding conversations” about the history and possible futures of these technologies, presented in both normal video and 360-degree VR video. The results of the survey and the conversation videos will also be on display at the event.
