Tye Husheer, Chief Executive Officer of HTS-110, a division of Scott Technology, will present an overview of Scott Technology, HTS-110 and how together they are leading New Zealand’s manufacturing future.

Scott Technology Ltd is a New Zealand-based, publicly listed engineering company that specialises in design and manufacture of automated production and process machinery. Widely recognised as a world-class builder of advanced automation systems, particularly for appliance, meat processing, mining, and superconductor industries globally.

Started in Dunedin in 1913, Scott operates from four NZ locations employing 220 staff, with a further 60 staff in Australia, China, Canada, USA, Europe and South America. Turnover for 2012 was $64 million, with nearly 90% exported.

Tye is responsible for marketing, commercialisation, sales and operations. He joined HTS-110 in August 2012, leveraging a wealth of technical experience from his broad background in commercial & technology businesses, and academic degrees in chemistry, economics and finance.
