Biography


Su Nguyen received the B.E. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2006, the M.E. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in Evolutionary Computation from Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), Wellington, New Zealand, in 2013.

Su Nguyen is currently the Posdoctoral Research Fellow in Evolutionary Computation Research Group (ECRG), VUW. Prior to VUW, he was a Research Associate in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the School of Engineering and Technology, AIT. His primary research interests include evolutionary computation, discrete-event simulation and their applications in operations planning and scheduling.
