Research Interests

My interest is the development of scientific, industrial and educational instruments. Some examples are:

  • Portable NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) spectrometers using Radio Frequency (RF), digital transceiver, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and power electronics technologies.
  • Earth's field NMR systems for education and for the study of the microstructure of Antarctic sea ice.
  • High performance motor controllers and drive systems for Rheo-NMR.

Many of my projects are taken to the complete product level and are commercialised through Magritek Ltd.
