Research Interests

My research interests are in the areas of

  • wireless and mobile networking protocols,
  • integration and interworking of wired and wireless networks,
  • network measurement and traffic analysis,
  • Internet protocols and systems, and
  • network security.

Biography

I received my PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from The University of Queensland in 2005. Prior to joining Victoria University of Wellington, I was a research fellow at University of South Australia and Swinburne University.

Before I moved into academia, I held different positions at China Aerospace Corporation and Mitsubishi Mobile Communications.

I received Best Paper Award in Australian Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference 2004 (ATNAC 2004).
