Biography
Rohitash is from the Fiji Islands. In the past, he has worked at the Middle East Technical University (Teaching and Research Assistant), University of Fiji (Tutor) and University of the South Pacific (Research Assistant) . His research Interests include, Neural Computation, Evolutionary Computation, Data Mining, Neural Networks for Speech Recognition and application of hybrid optimization technologies to Robotics Control.
Apart from his interest in science, he is actively involved in Literature and Philosophy. He has been the editor of the Blue Fog Journal (bluefogjournal.com) since 2006 and has published two poetry collections. His book, "A Hot Pot of Roasted Poems" was launched in June 2007 in Fiji Islands.
