Research Interests

  • Virtual & Augmented Reality
  • Computer Graphics
  • Human perception
  • HCI in virtual environments
I am primarily interested in Virtual Reality, and how human perception changes, and can be manipulated, in VR.

My current research focuses on how rendering changes can increase immersion, presence, and comfort in virtual environments, with the goal of contributing towards systems in which VR is viewed as equivalent to reality. Of (current) major focus is cybersickness / simulator sickness / visual discomfort, and how rendering can alleviate these for more comfortable viewing.
